WHAT we do

our VALUE drivers

Our full software lifecycle approach provides a complete process from requirements definition and design through development and quality assurance within our teams. Our process reduces the gaps and miscommunication risks and increases the speed in work handoff throughout the development lifecycle. Unlike offshore solution providers, our team works when you do, greatly improving real time communication on high velocity projects.

One of the largest challenges today for organizations is finding and retaining technology talent in today’s competitive market.  Gullview Technologies is able to develop and build talent in hard to find and retain skills, leveraging the talent present and the great quality of life in the Brainerd Lakes Area. By locating in Minnesota’s playground, we provide a great work-life balance experience for our employees, leading to great staff stability and longevity.

Many organizations have resorted to offshore outsourcing to decrease the costs with application software development and maintenance solutions.  Over time, these efforts have decreased in effectiveness, because of ongoing quality issues, staff turnover, increased offshore labor costs, and the additional costs present to push work offshore.  At Gullview Technologies, we keep work for our customers here in our rural America based locations.  Our Rural locations provide a great quality of life, resulting in highly productive team members and workforce stability.  This stability enables our teams to build, and retain a deep knowledge of our customer’s business and systems, improving ROI.

Our Rural Technology Center model combines the strength and rigor of process driven software development and maintenance with our approach of dedicating experienced team members on our teams who develop tremendous knowledge and depth of your systems.  By dedicating team members to each client, knowledge builds over time about your business and software applications enabling us to “get solutions right” the first time.

Bill Wolff – CEO and Co-Founder

As a founding member of Gullview Technologies, Bill Wolff’s vision is to be the leader in rural based software development and maintenance solutions to clients while providing high quality job opportunities and economic development growth in rural communities.   Bill brings over 25 years of experience in leading technology companies including co-founding one of the first successful rural based IT software outsourcing companies. A hallmark of this effort was to leverage the cost effective operating model of Rural America based software development facilities to build a software sustainment model for clients focused on reducing the total cost of ownership for IT systems.

Bill’s background has enabled him to develop a strong understanding of the IT challenges company leaders face and to create value added and strategic relationships with clients.  Prior to Gullview Technologies, Bill has been CEO of several technology companies and most recently was on the executive team of a large nationally known IT staffing company.

Whether driving significant growth for firms or executing a company turnaround, a cornerstone of Bill’s efforts has been to build a culture of engaged and motivated employees focused on personal and professional growth and success.

A native of Edina Minnesota, Bill is a graduate of Mankato State University.  When not focusing on business endeavors, Bill is an avid boater and fisherman, as well as spending time with family at his home on Gull Lake.

Ross Graba – President and Co-Founder

As a founding member of Gullview Technologies, Ross combines his background in developing software technology solutions with his experience in utilizing Rural America based teams to create value added strategic solutions for clients.   As co-founder, Ross rekindles his partnership with Bill Wolff, who along with Ross, were founders of one of the first successful Rural Software Technology Centers in America.  A hallmark of this effort was to leverage the cost effective operating model of Rural America based software development facilities to build a software sustainment model for clients focused on reducing the total cost of ownership for IT systems.

Prior to Gullview Technologies, Ross was asked to revitalize and re-energize a Software as a Service (SaaS) technology firm.  Ross led a strategic turnaround effort, resulting in increases in sales and operating performance.  These efforts led to a successful acquisition by another firm.

Ross began his career in the Defense industry working as a system design engineer and technical program manager for software development on the F-16 Fighter Aircraft, and developed a sound appreciation for creating software technology solutions that were financially sustainable over their lifetime.

A native of Rural Minnesota, Ross is a graduate of North Dakota State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering.  In his spare time, Ross enjoys the outdoors with his family, is an active Scouting leader, and also serves as a volunteer with the local school Knowledge Bowl program.
